SoCal fencers expressed a preference for cheaper, self-directed division tournaments. However, the results were not the landslide some were predicting.<\/p>\n<p>36 fencers, or 58% of those voting, preferred the $20 self-directed tournament model.<\/p>\n<p>26 fencers, or 41% of those votiing, preferred the $40 paid directors tournament model.<\/p>\n<p>The board thanks those who voted for expressing their preferences and will take their views into consideration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>After ten frantic days of voting, the results are in.
